Lenox Jazz Stroll marks its 5th year with a dynamic line-up and opening concert at Tanglewood’s Linde Center for Music and Learning.

Mill Town Foundation, in partnership with Berkshires Jazz, and the Lenox Chamber of Commerce, is pleased to announce the fifth annual Lenox Jazz Stroll will be held September 6th & 7th in historic Lenox, MA. Welcoming all ages, this event includes performances by nationally recognized musicians along with Berkshire favorites.

On Friday evening at 7pm, a ticketed concert at Tanglewood’s Linde Center for Music and Learning features Ted Rosenthal’s All-Star Sextet along with Wanda Houston’s Resonance Trio. Ted Rosenthal will present “Bernstein & Bop” A Saxophone Colossus featuring Gary Smulyan (baritone saxophone), Scott Robinson (tenor saxophone), Erena Terakubo (alto saxophone), Ted Rosenthal (piano), Noriko Ueda (bass), and Dennis Mackrel (drums). A special opening set will feature legendary Berkshire-based vocalist Wanda Houston with Eugene Uman (piano), and Tarik Shah (bass). The Linde Center is location at  3W Hawthorne Rd. Lenox MA.

On Saturday, performances will take place throughout the downtown cultural district including three concerts at Lilac Park on Main St. between 3-7pm and pop-up performances throughout the day. Saturday’s performances are free, family-friendly, and open to the public. Concert-goers are encouraged to bring a picnic and lawn chairs to enjoy the afternoon in the park. Additional Saturday evening performances at local restaurants will be announced via social media.
