Vice President of the Board of Mill Town Foundation and Trimix Foundation
Dave founded the Mill Town Foundation in the fall of 2018 with the goal and vision of using philanthropic funding to improve the quality of life in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, and the broader region of the Berkshires. Dave and his wife Gail have contributed substantial personal capital to fund Mill Town Foundation’s initial mission by funding all overhead costs and via contributions to a myriad of programs and projects in the region. Dave is a lifelong philanthropist, beginning with the Mixer’s founding of the Trimix Foundation in 1994. Trimix is a private foundation which has supported causes including early childhood education, affordable housing, health initiatives, community re-development, and support of the arts in Rhode Island, Florida, and the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts. Since inception, Trimix has contributed over $60 million dollars of philanthropic capital to community causes across the country.
