Core Impact Awards

Core Impact Awards celebrates and invests in the educators shaping the future of our community. Launched in 2025, the program reflects a core belief that recognition is not symbolic—it is essential. At a time when educator burnout and workforce challenges are impacting communities nationwide, Mill Town Foundation created Core Impact Awards to elevate, support, and retain the individuals who are critical to student success and community wellbeing.

The program recognizes and celebrates the educators and school staff who shape student success every day. Educators show up with care, creativity, and commitment that extend far beyond their job descriptions, and few people influence a young person’s life as profoundly as a great teacher.

Rooted in this purpose, Core Impact Awards honors outstanding educators from every school in Pittsfield. By elevating their work, the program strengthens retention of local talent, inspires excellence in the classroom, and builds pride across schools and the district. When educators feel valued, it reinforces strong school communities and affirms the vital role education plays in building a thriving, connected region.
