In partnership with the “Let It Shine!” public art initiative as well as Pittsfield-based artist, Huckleberry Elling, a photo mural of Morningside Community School students will be unveiled on the exterior wall of the Berkshire Family YMCA on North St. in Pittsfield. Free and open to the public.
Join us for a party in the park! This celebration will feature spoken word and live music performed by Morningside Community School students after months of in-school poetry workshops led by The Mastheads. Free pizza and refreshments will be available for all.
In partnership with Pittsfield Public Schools and children’s author, Ty Allan Jackson, the 2nd annual Danny Dollar Entrepreneur Fair will take place at Berkshire Community College on Friday, June 7. Every fifth-grade student in Pittsfield will showcase their new ideas for businesses after engaging in months of financial literacy learning through the Danny Dollar curriculum.
